​We are a small independent bookshop in the historic market town of Wallingford in Oxfordshire. We have around 6,000 books in stock and are usually able to get books that we don't have in the shop for you next working day. Pop in and browse, or ask one of our booksellers for some suggestions - we love to help!

We are a small independent bookshop in the historic town of Wallingford in Oxfordshire. First opened by Mary Ingrams in 1983 and now owned by Helen Longworth, the shop is an integral part of the the Wallingford community.
We have over 6,000 books in stock at any one time, but if we don't have what you're looking for we can order it for you. The only thing we love more than helping you to find your perfect book is a challenge. So whether you've forgotten the name of a book, an author or both come and test us - we'll do our darnedest to find the book for you!
