THE WALLINGFORD BOOKSHOP
ADVANCE NOTICE: After an extremely busy few months we have decided that the team needs a little break to spend some time with our families and to read some books! Consequently, the shop will be closed between 24th July and 31st July inclusive, opening again on 1st August. This is unprecedented, and we really hope that you understand our reasons and that this does not inconvenience you too much. It's been a crazy time for all of us! Subscriptions will be sent out as usual and we will deal with all online queries on our return on 1st August.
"Hugely knowledgable and really friendly staff. This bookshop is a real gem!"
We are a small independent bookshop in the historic town of Wallingford in Oxfordshire. First opened by Mary Ingrams in 1983 and now owned by Ali Jinks, the shop is an integral part of the the Wallingford community.
We have over 6,000 books in stock at any one time, but if we don't have what you're looking for we can order it for you. The only thing we love more than helping you to find your perfect book is a challenge. So whether you've forgotten the name of a book, an author or both come and test us - we'll do our darnedest to find the book for you!
From 15th June you can come and browse the bookshop again, but please call us to make an appointment first so that we can ensure that social distancing guidelines are maintained. If you're not ready to visit us just yet, you can still order from us online and we can post books to you or deliver them if you're local. Call us on 01491 834383 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
