COVID 19 UPDATE - 1st November 2020

Open For Browsing from Wednesday 2nd December

We are all SO excited to be able to welcome you back into the shop to browse for Christmas. Our bookshop elves are on hand to help with suggestions for those 'tricky to buy for' book lovers in your lives - we love a challenge! As our shop is big on books but small on space we can only allow two families or three individuals in to browse at any one time, so please bear with us we have to ask you to wait for a minute or two. Keeping you and our team as safe as possible is paramount. So please remember to sanitise your hands when you come into the shop, to wear a mask if you can and to maintain social distancing.

If you're not comfortable about visiting us at the moment that's fine! There are still lots of ways that we can get you books:

Contact us to place your order or ask for suggestions - we love hearing from you.

We'll contact you when your book(s) is ready for collection from the shop.

You can pay prior to collection by bank transfer, by debit or credit card over the phone, or pay by card when you collect (no cash please).

If you would prefer not to visit the shop to collect your purchases, we offer free delivery to OX10 postcodes, Goring, Streatley and Upper and Lower Basildon. We are also very happy to post books for you (postage charges will apply). A gift wrapping service is also available.

Email or message us your Christmas Wishlist and we'll set one up for you in the shop. Your friends and relatives can call us and we can help them find the perfect book from them to you. We'll even gift wrap and deliver / post it to you with a message from them if they wish.

Browse the shelves from the comfort of your home! We can set up a virtual shopping appointment for you so that you can browse the shelves and ask us for ideas for that perfect gift. Call or email us for details.
