It's a 'Thrilling' September!

After the fun of Bunkfest, Wallingford has taken a slightly more sinister turn in September. This weekend is The Agatha Christie Mystery Weekend (6-8th September). Agatha Christie lived in Wallingford for 42 years, and wrote many of her mysteries here. Wallingford will be celebrating her life and writing with events taking place all over the town for all ages. New Booktime!!

The Booktime catalogue for September/October is now available on our "Looking for Inspiration?" page. The digital edition of Summer Books is also available here. Paper copies are available in the shop.

We are often asked for audio books, and whilst some are still available to purchase on CD, numbers have declined in recent years. Up until now, we have directed customers to the Libby and Borrowbox apps, which offer free audiobook downloads for library members, but there are sometimes queues for books, which can put some customers off.

So, now we've signed up to Libro.fm, the Bookshop.org of digital audio books! Click here to find out more :)

You can pay prior to collection by bank transfer, by debit or credit card over the phone, or pay when you collect .

POSTAL / DELIVERY OPTIONS:

If you would prefer not to visit the shop to collect your purchases, we offer free delivery to OX10 postcodes, Goring, Streatley and Upper and Lower Basildon. We are also very happy to post books for you (postage charges will apply and there may be delays due to any postal strikes). A gift wrapping service is also available.
